Preach Jesus He is the Tabernacle Exodus 25:8 & John 1:14

 

When it comes to relationships, proximity matters!

The Tabernacle in Exodus is:

1. A place of closeness. (Exodus 25:8-9)

   1. God was living with his people.

2. A place of covenant. (Exodus 25:10-16)

   1. Covenant: A pledge of friendship between God and man.

3. A place of covering. (Exodus 25:17-22)

   1. Atonement: Grace that covered sin.

Key Question:

What kind of experience took place in the tabernacle?  HOME.

 

Jesus is THE Tabernacle: John 1:14

1. He draws close to us. (vs. 14a)

2. He is a true friend. Grace and truth. (vs. 14b)

3. He is our salvation. (vs. 14c)
