This Jesus

Acts 2:22-41

v2 -Peter preaches that Jesus's death was part of God's plan, and that He has been resurrected from death by God. King David had prophesied this resurrection in his psalms. Peter has just explained to the crowd in Jerusalem that the Holy Spirit is working through the disciples.

Hebrews 12:2

If we are to run the life of faith, we resist the distractions and look deeply into His eyes. "Keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of God's throne.
