Episode 669 ~ Something that's interesting about the Lord. When he talks to us about righteousness and the grace of God through the New Testament, He makes it clear that no one has earned that from Him - It's a gift. It's not owed to them because they've worked for it or anything of that nature. However, Christ did. Yes, he earned it with His perfect life and perfect obedience, and perfect sacrifice, and following the Lord in everything; and not straying, or failing to complete one jot or tiddle. He's the only One who is entitled to be honored by God, because He met the standard that God set for Him.
