Facing the physician shortage – Part 2

Due to a number of reasons—physician retirement, limited medical school and residency slots, fewer physicians in rural practices and a population that is aging and growing—the country is beginning to experience a shortage of physicians. This problem is only expected to balloon in the next decade. On this episode, we examine a number of potential remedies for the physician shortage, from greater efficiencies in practice to a reliance on the clinical team approach.
