Mid-Session 24 Sep 2021: ASX falters despite strong US lead

The Aussie market is weaker toward lunch on Friday despite a strong lead in from Wall Street. Mining names such as BHP & gold stocks are falling while health stocks such as Cochlear & ResMed also underperform. Energy & financials are leading improvements.
