Blockbuster screenwriter Josh Miller drops by to hang out and talk about “The Greatest Thing About Video Stores”. It’s more than nostalgia but it is that too. We discuss the lost culture that was video stores. And no we’re not just talking about Blockbuster. We’re talking about VIDEO STORES. Sometimes they’d have that beaded curtain, sometimes the people that worked there were movie savants, sometimes you got there right in time to snag that Kung Fu movie that Wu-Tang sampled. We talk about video store CULTURE. There’s also some good talk about Friday the 13th and the basics of horror branding which leads nicely into an interview section where we get some insight on writing movies from someone thriving in present-day Hollywood.
