In this Sunday’s Gospel (Luke 14), Jesus tells us: “Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.” Fr. Jonathan Meyer challenges us to name our particular cross—whether it’s addiction, gossip, sloth, low self-esteem, illness, financial struggles, or broken relationships—and to carry it with the help of Christ and others .
