Luring Vs Shaping

Luring and shaping are two techniques that you can use to train your dog.

These techniques use your dog’s first language, body language, to teach them what it is we want.

Once we teach them the behaviour using one of these techniques, we can pair the behaviour to a word.

For dogs we teach the meaning first, then we teach them the verbal language that goes with it.
