Mid-Session 18 Sep 18: Market slips as Trump announces new Chinese tariffs

The Australian sharemarket is weaker on Tuesday after US President Trump announced new tariffs on US$200 billion of Chinese goods after the close of trade in the US. The ASX 200 is down 9 points or 0.2% to 6,175.
