The Borley Rectory

Kicking off spooky month with a haunted location across the pond, tonight we're discussing the Borley Church and Rectory, both described as the most haunted places in England. The church, dating back to the 11th century, and the rectory, dating back to the 1800s, have both had their share of paranormal activity, from unexplained sightings & footsteps, disembodied voices and even phantom sounds of church bells & organ music. The rectory caught fire and the remains were demolished in the 1940s, but the church still stands, even having been investigated by researchers Ed and Lorraine Warren in the 1970s.
