Hey everyone! This episode of Reggie's Comics Stories is a reading of Cullen Murphy's 2017 article for Vanity Fair, titled "When Fairfield County Was the Comic-Strip Capital of the World." Mr. Murphy is the author of Cartoon County: My Father and His Friends in the Golden Age of Make-Believe, a great book about cartooning and cartoonists in the mid-twentieth century. The essay is full of information about comics peddling, and anecdotes about some famous illustrators, here's hoping that you enjoy it!
