Are you holding onto this idea that is stealing your joy? So many times we hold onto things that we think we need or that will bring us joy, but as long as we're holding them we won't experience the promises that God has for us. For me, this idea is perfection. The myth of perfection has led me to places of despair and mom guilt, but I recognize now that I now longer need to do that.
