AM Update 17 Jan 17: European Markets lower ahead of BREXIT update, US Closed.

European shares finished weaker on Monday, dragged lower by weakness in financials although miners were higher. US sharemarkets ended mixed when they last closed for trade on Friday, today closed for Martin Luther King Junior Holiday.
