Walker Jaroch, editor of AMT, is joined for the third installment of the Gearing Up for the Competition series by Elena Gonzalez – an aircraft maintenance technician with American Airlines.

Gonzalez has been recognized as an American Airlines’ all-stars and has competed in The Competition numerous times, serving as the captain of American Airlines’ all female team.

The conversation covers everything from Elena’s 15-year long career to what she’s doing to inspire the next generation of aircraft maintenance technicians.
