Do you realize that your life is a spectacle unto Heaven, and unto this world? Literally everything you do, whether in public, or in private, is observed as a theater for the Heavenlies! Knowing this inescapable truth, the question then becomes, which one is giving you applause for the way you live your life, as it is impossible to receive applause from both? Jesus says, you can only serve one Master, God or this world...which one do you serve?
