Can the Catholic Church Ordain Women? Can the Church Compromise Her Teachings? - By Fr. Patrick Cahill

In today's Gospel (Matthew 8:1-4), we see that the humble faith of the leper witnesses the miracle.  This is an important lesson to us all.  If we want to see the miracle in the Church, we cannot compromise the teachings of the Church.  We do not tell the Lord that we know better.  He is the one that leads the way and we follow.
