I used a wordplay about vulnerability and being human. Then, I used a quote by Galileo about discovering truths. Next, I talked about the agile mindset and creating psychological safety. Then, I talked about taking risks and making mistakes.
In this week's RITE OF PASSAGE EXPERIENCES or ROPE, I talked about the dignity of risk and risk management. Making mistakes is good because they reveal opportunities for continuous improvement. I used the example of a hockey goalie. Targeting vulnerabilities without shame or blame is important. Finally, I talked about the right to fail and the dignity of risk used in the independent living community.
