Laura Andrews was one of three people chosen by the Antarctic Heritage Trust to take part in their Inspiring Explorers Expedition to the south pole to commemorate 150 years since Amundsen was born. She’s no stranger to endurance challenges, but this was epic – a 50 day, 1000km ski in the harshest of conditions across Antarctica. She is an impassioned young lady with oodles of enthusiasm to inspire people to live their dream today.

Laura’s favourite quotes
“I am only one, but still, I am one. I cannot do everything, but still, I can do something – and because I cannot do everything, I will not let that impact what I can do”. Edward Everett Hall
"I had the best day ever, more times than I can remember. I look back on my life and it’s in these moments where I’ve truly lived. My memories seem bigger – more real, the good times, the friends, the hard times, the lows – the awe and wonder I felt. I know I’m here by choice and I’m glad I am here. I can be nowhere else.” Hendrik Coetzee
