Farmers will be rewarded for climate reforms - Kelly

Ireland South MEP Seán Kelly says farmers will be rewarded for ‘going green’ as part of Europe’s ambitious plans to tackle climate change.

 

He was speaking as the European Parliament debates major reform to the Common Agricultural Policy.

 

Seán Kelly says nobody will be 100 per cent happy with the plan but compromises have to be made.

 

The Fine Gael MEP hopes farmers will get on board
