What about people, like my grandparents, who never heard the gospel?

While there are a lot of questions about Christianity that stretch our thinking, this is a question that many of us deeply feel. At heart, it is a question about God’s fairness. Does God actually desire every person to come to know him, or does he prefer some people over others? And if he truly loves everyone, then what is he doing to make himself known to them? In the end, perhaps it all boils down to this: Does God really love our loved ones as much, or more, than we do?
