Episode # 1613 – The Feast Day Of St. Blaise

Today is the First Friday of February, but Father Anthony is here, as pointed out yesterday since Geoff Hammond was supposed to be in but couldn’t make it.  However, the gang is all here on the show today, Father Anthony, Christina, Gerri, and Tony, who talks about what happened to his mom and how she is in the hospital and what happened/lead to that.  Everyone offers their thoughts and prayers to Tony and his mom.  Since this is Catholic Schools Week this week, the grandparents visited Saint Stanislaus Kostka School today and Father Anthony says he enjoyed that.  He continues the discussion from yesterday a bit further from where he was.  Today is also the Feast Day Of Saint Blaise, so Father Anthony goes further into talking about Saint Blaise and his significance.  With Catholic Schools Week this week, Father Anthony raises the idea of Faith again, along with knowledge, provided that Faith is “a gift from God,” with everyone sharing their opinions on this, reflecting on the times we live in today.  This raises a few things that have come up in the last couple of months around us.
