Market Close 2 Nov 20: ASX lifts to start a busy week for financial markets

The Aussie market is higher to start the week with financials playing a big part in the move higher. AMP jumped another 10% on further details of its proposed takeover while Westpac (WBC) fell after reporting a 62% slide in cash earnings.
