Jesus the Rest Giver

What did Jesus mean when he said “28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matt 11:28)? What is this rest that Jesus offers? Who does he offer this rest to? How does he give us that rest? And is the rest that Jesus offers the rest that we really need ?
