Should eating meat be banned?

On Monday afternoon Niall Boylan spoke about whether or not listeners would like to see eating meat banned. A UK barrister has said that eating meat could be banned in the future and also called for the offence of "eco-cide" to be introduced to prosecute those who damage nature on a massive scale.
