191 - Drop Dead by Lily Chu

Renowned writer Dot Voline, aka Lady Death, isn’t dead - yet. But journalist Nadine jumped the gun by publishing a plagiarized obit stating so and all hell broke loose. Rival journalist, and old classmate Wes, is also following this story and more so since Dot isn’t actually dead. As competitors then and now, Nadine and Wes are only allowed to spend a very limited time with Dot, who has become invested in their real-life-enemies-to-lovers situation. After finding pretty much nothing out during their limited time before Dot actually dies, the pair stay in Lady Death’s estate for 3 weeks to uncover clues regarding her life, her stories, and a political scandal that is dying to come to light. Join us as we venture through this old lady’s wacky house with two people who are obviously going to put their differences aside, solve the mystery of Dot’s story, and fall in love.
