Mid-Session 25 Jan 18: Local market edges lower after two-session climb

The local sharemarket is losing some of its shine, after climbing for the past two sessions. The ASX 200 is down 6 points or 0.10% to 6,048 with gains from mining & energy stocks helping to limit the losses.
