US Close 2 Jun 16:Overseas markets hit by subdues data and low volumes ahead of key releases

US sharemarkets recovered from lows on Wednesday. But investors remained cautious ahead of the OPEC meeting on Thursday and jobs data on Friday. After being down by 122 points, the Dow rose by 2.5 points or less than 0.1%. The  S&P 500 index rose by 0.1% while the Nasdaq gained 4 points or 0.1%.
