Father Thomas Koys joins us after an absence due to him being in Washington, D.C. to say the formal prayer for the House of Representatives last week, with Christina and Tony running in a bit after the show starts. Father Koys talks about being there and having such a great honor given to him and he also talks about not only the "pride" he felt when doing the prayer, but also feeling and being the optimist that he is and that being optimistic has it's benefits and difficulties. As the show goes on, Father Koys has the prayer he gave at the House of Representatives for all to hear, as well as Senator Dave Lapinski talking about Father Koys (including mentioning the show itself) and shares his history and influence for all. From this, Father Koys talks to not only Christina and Tony, but to everyone of us about the experience he had in D.C. He also shares what he calls "a longer version" of the prayer he said at the House Of Representatives for us to hear on the show today, providing historical dates and figures along these lines as usual with others in mind. Doing this, Father Koys feels that he is turning the show, if not the world, upside down with what is being discussed with history today, talking about religions, religious freedom, and America, trying to hold on to "the fullness of the faith" Father Koys says.
