As an adult child imagine being prohibited from seeing your elderly parent who may be suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. You have no past history or issues that would keep you from being able to spend time with your parent. Yet, you are not able to spend that time together, and you are not informed of any health care, or even notified when the parent has died. Sounds unimaginable? Yet, for Catherine Falk, this was a harsh reality. How and why did this happen to Catherine?

 

The daughter of Peter Falk has completed an interview with me about her ordeal that resulted in the process of changing the laws across the country so that all adult children can have fair access to a parent during their final days.
