Jesus’ metaphors of salt, light, mustard seeds and yeast in the dough seem to underscore that it is the small and humble, rather than the mighty and powerful, that have real power for transformation. Drawing upon Anabaptist theology, Jamie illustrates the dangers of ‘establishment thinking’ and challenges us to rethink our perception of ‘the Holy’.
