A Friend is Convinced I am a Robot Cyborg

This episode reunites me with my old friend Richard Anderson. Back in 1997, we used to sit around recording podcasts long before I knew what I'd eventually do with these gems. But I recognized they were loaded with fun potential. Richard was a character; our ongoing theme involved him trying to convince me of his elaborate delusions. Despite being a functional schizophrenic, our sessions often involved smoking a lot of weed and diving deep into discussions about mind control—a topic on which Richard was surprisingly prescient, as many of these concepts have since gained public recognition and validation in various forms. His rants, peppered with accurate citations, historical references, and factoids, were like early versions of ChatGPT output. Give him a topic, and he'd deliver a compelling monologue on the spot.
