Moving Beyond the Past-Lesson 3b The Prodigal Son-God's Forgiveness The prodigal son chose to do his own thing. Many times those who have been wounded chose to do their own thing. The son got himself in a mess doing his own thing. Those who try to deal with their wounds their own way get into a mess. The good news is the son came to his senses and came back to his father as a humble man. If you want healing in your life from the past you must come humbly before God, confess your sinful way of dealing with your past and allow God to bring healing to your life.
