We went to the Drake University Neighborhood and to Mars Cafe for this edition of Marketing for Business. There Phil K. James from Good Milkshake Digital and Michael from Insight Advertising, Marketing & Communications sat down with Dan Koenig. Dan is an interesting cat. Decades ago he started Yankee Doodle Dandy Tattoos now a staple in that area. Then he revisited his childhood love of bicycles and started Ichi Bike a very non-traditional bike shop in the East Village of Des Moines. Both edgy and both artful. We talk about his brand, marketing and more. Fun stuff...and valuable lessons in telling stories.
