Market Close 15 Oct. 2019: Aussie shares edge higher as trade optimism dulls

The Aussie market has managed to lift slightly higher on Tuesday. The ASX 200  managed to close 9 points higher at 6652 as investors digested further trade related updates. Local miners and energy producers fell as commodity prices eased. Media and retailers also had weaker sessions on poor trading updates.
