“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson This Emerson quote is so good, it’s a two-parter! “Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can.” OMG! This is OPPOSITE of what most people do, right? Most people toss-and-turn in bed replaying the day’s slights, difficulties, and mistakes assuring that they sleep fitfully and wake up dreading tomorrow. “Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.” For you is it, “GOOD MORNING GOD!!” or more like, “Good God, morning.” Are you able to begin your days with a “high spirit?” If not, I’m going to give you a simple tool to start getting out of bed EXCITED!
