Days of Our Lives returns with fresh scripts from head writer and showrunner, Ron Carlivati. After a lengthy hiatus due to the writers' strike, Carlivati is back to steer the NBC Peacock drama and promises a shake-up in the storylines. 

The showrunner revealed spoilers for the upcoming episodes of DOOL, including Gabi Hernandez's (Cherie Jimenez) prison release and Eric Brady's (Greg Vaughan) paternity drama involving Nicole's son, Jude. Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is also in the spotlight as the false heir to Victor Kako Fortune. 

Carlivati also shares his enthusiasm for writing the explosive storyline of Teresa Donovan (Emily O'Brien) being outed as a liar and a forger, and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) reclaiming his birthright. He also hinted at the upcoming wedding of Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) to Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) and the murder mystery of Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). 

In a heartfelt tribute, the 15,000th episode of Days of Our Lives will coincide with the funeral of Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), in honor of the late actor. The showrunner thanked loyal fans for their support and encouraged those who stopped watching during the strike to tune back in. With the return of Ron Carlivati, the beloved soap opera promises to be packed with intense drama and unexpected twists.
