David Uosikkinen - Episode 792

Steve Cooper talks with drummer David Uosikkinen. David has played drums with The Hooters for 40 years and has recorded and performed with Alice Cooper, Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper, Taj Mahal and Patty Smyth, as well as with many other emerging artists. In addition, he has performed on extensive international tours and has played many major events including Live Aid, Amnesty International and Roger Waters’ The Wall in Berlin. In 2011 he launched In The Pocket: Essential Songs of Philadelphia which records and makes documentary music videos of classic tunes from the City of Brotherly Love and he has another project called The Bar Band that is a supergroup of Philly talent.
