Donald Trump is up on appeal! In September, the New York appeals court heard oral arguments in the New York v. Donald Trump fraud case by Attorney General Letitia James. Among other questions, the court is considering whether the imposed fines were too high and whether there were real victims. Jack Smith has filed a motion in Donald Trump's election interference case in DC, asking the court to find that his actions were "unofficial acts," so that they can proceed forward with Donald Trump's prosecution. The question is whether all or any of Donald Trump's words and actions surrounding the 2020 election were official acts or unofficial acts. #scotus rules this past summer that the US President is immune from prosecution for all official acts.
