Ryan Murphy has been quoted as saying “I made gay sidekicks the leads.” But there’s a bit more to be said about this. We want to look at the ebb and flow of queerness and LGBTQ+ representation in the Murphyverse. We want to ask questions like: Are Ryan Murphy’s queer characters too male, too cis, and too white?
