Giving Up the Old, Accepting the New

Our Guest Preacher today was Mr. John Robson. John is a retired librarian. He is a 2011 “grad” of the Synod of Lincoln Trails’ (Presbyterian Church) lay pastor program.  He has pinched hit for a number of Presbyterian congregations when their pastors must be absent or pulpits fall empty.  Since the fall of 2012 he alternates with another pastor at Newport’s Grand Towers residence facility in leading weekend worship for a most diverse group of believers.
