💁🏻 Concept: Special Grace
Special grace—also called saving grace—is the sovereign work of God whereby He brings sinners to salvation in Christ. Unlike common grace, which is given to all, special grace is effectual and particular: it is applied only to God’s elect, drawing them irresistibly to faith and repentance. It is not earned or deserved but flows from God’s eternal love and covenant mercy in Christ.

(Titus 2:11; John 6:37, 44; Romans 8:29–30; 2 Timothy 1:9; Matthew 5:45; Acts 14:17; Luke 12:6-7)

2. Do not envy other people. 
3. Thank God for special grace.

Gracious Father, forgive me because often times I envy other people for their riches, happiness, and accomplishments. Forgive me for not focusing on what I already have. Forgive me for forgetting that I have Jesus. I am a child of God, I am saved, and I have eternal life.
