Forgotten Books of The Bible: Obadiah Part 2 - How NOT to Treat Your Enemies

Make no mistake about it, they hated their neighbors that were north of them, so much so, that when Babylon came to attack the Israelites the Edomites sat high in their homes in the mountains, gloating and watching it all happen. For some of them, their disdain for the Israelites was so deep that they joined in on the attack, taking from the Israelites, and even making sure those who could escape couldn’t. Generations of anger and resentment for their brother nation come to a head, but God wasn’t happy about it and through Obadiah delivered His message of judgment for their actions.
