Duygu Balan, LPCC is an author and psychotherapist who specializes in intergenerational trauma. She gained her expertise in intergenerational trauma while working as a clinical counselor in New York City, helping patients on society's outskirts. She is a registered psychotherapist and co-author of Re-Write: A Trauma Workbook of Creative Writing and Recovery in Our New Normal, as well as a contributor to the best-selling medical textbook, The Big Book of Emergency Department Psychiatry: A Guide to Patient Centered Operational Improvement.
Yener Balan, MD, DFAPA, is a board-certified psychiatrist and the bestselling author of Re-Write: A Trauma Workbook of Creative Writing and Recovery in Our New Normal and Big Book of Emergency Department Psychiatry. He is a renowned fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and currently works for a large health care organization as the vice president of mental health and medical specialty services. Yener has considerable experience working in high-volume emergency departments, is a specialist in hospital operations, including emergency room work, health care business and management, and has conducted lectures and workshops all over the world.
Paul Krauss MA LPC is the Clinical Director of Health for Life Counseling Grand Rapids, home of The Trauma-Informed Counseling Center of Grand Rapids. Paul is also a Private Practice Psychotherapist, an Approved EMDRIA Consultant , host of the Intentional Clinician podcast, Behavioral Health Consultant, Clinical Trainer, and Counseling Supervisor. Paul is now offering consulting for a few individuals and organizations.
