Love, Simon is the coming of age story we needed but never thought would come out. Simon is an ordinary teen living an ordinary life, except that he has a big secret: he is gay. Coming out has been an historically scary thing, whether people are worried about safety, acceptance, or even just being the same as before coming out. How do we, as fellow humans, allow each other to breathe and live our truths without enforcing stereotypes and expectations? Wren Warpula and Zuko Beuchler explore coming out of the closet, taking risks and daring to just be ourselves.
