In the latest episode of the CBS soap, Young and the Restless, Summer Newman's (Allison Lanier) pursuit of custody rights for Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) takes a dramatic turn. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Harrison's biological father, is threatened with the loss of his son as Summer reveals her intentions to sue for sole custody. The Newman's legal tactics have been questionable, with an emergency protective order for Harrison being granted under suspicious circumstances. 

The storyline is set to escalate as Kyle contemplates a drastic solution to retain his custody rights. His strategy could involve remarrying and convincing Harrison's biological mother, Tara Locke (currently in prison for financial crimes), to relinquish her parental rights. This move would allow his new wife to adopt Harrison, thus securing his son's future. Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) is speculated to be a potential bride for this arrangement. 

The plot becomes more complicated as Summer seems to ignore the potential harm her actions could cause Harrison. The storyline promises to keep Young and the Restless fans intrigued as they await the show's next twists and turns.
