Market Close 5 Jan 17: Energy, Telcos & Healthcare stocks lead the gains

The Australian share market has finished higher for a third straight session, as energy, telco & healthcare stocks rallied. The ASX 200 finished up 0.3% or 16 points to a fresh 19-month high of 5,753.
