Hanukkah Part 4:  The Festival of Lights and The Miracle of The Oil -  English only.  Why is Hanukkah called the Festival of Lights? There is an ancient legend that the Maccabees only had enough oil to light the Temple menorah for one night, yet the lamps burned for 8 nights.  Do we have evidence that this legend is true?  If not, why do still call this the Festival of Lights?
