Gro Hofseide vokste opp i Brattvåg men har bodd det meste av livet på Ellingsøya utenfor Ålesund. Hun er godt kjent på Sunnmøre etter å ha reist rundt med sang- og musikk i talløse bedehus og kristne forsamlinger. Gro tar utgangspunkt i Salmenes bok i Bibelen når hun gir oss Ord til ettertanke.
