You Can Cook Too 04 - Cheat’s Fish Pie

Patricia shows us a delicious fish pie that can serve 6.

She pairs it with the first movement of Schubert's Trout Quintet.

Cheats Fish Pie

Serves 6

Preparation time 20-25 minutes

 

Ingredients

400 gm pack trimmed leeks. Thickly sliced

520 gms fish mix

150 gm king prawns

525 gm jar lasagne white sauce

200 gm frozen peas

800 gm mashed potatoes

4 tabsps snipped chives

 

Instructions

Preheat oven to 200C

Cook leeks in boiling water for 3 minutes

Mix leeks with all the ingredients except potatoes and chives and put into heatproof dish

Add chives to potatoes and spoon over the fish mixture.

Cook for about 45 minutes and serve.

Freezes well half-way through cooking and before chives added
