Father Koys is here as usual for Wednesday and happy to be here, but has much on his mind, in fact much with the Civil War in mind, as well as Catholicism relating to Americans today too. He brings to mind the Civil War with that being on his mind, as well as his upcoming Civil War reenactment coming up too. He brings up many, many important and historical facts and things from the Civil War, including slavery being a major issue. Father Koys connects some of these issues to things going on today, including Christians suffering in the Middle East and the NEED, for prayer now, and a woman who recently had or is having trouble obtaining a VISA here in the United States. Some of these topics are upsetting, even making Father Koys really mad about them. As the show goes on, going back further, around 1861 at the time of the Civil War, Father Koys feels this year and time during the Civil War helps in the topics of discussion today, bringing to mind many people and places, as well as events too. Towards the end of the show, the topic once again turns toward the idea of marriage, with a story told by Father Koys.
